An unexpected situation can happen at any point of a process.
Polymita offers FreeFlow to launch unstructured process in any point, or independently.
FreeFlow starts with a task that is assigned to a user or role and has certain characteristics such as whether…
- …it can be cancelled
- …it can be delegated
- …the originator process automatocally advances once the FreeFlow in finished
- …the assigned users can interact with the process information.
- …who is accountable
- …who can be contributors
When a FreeFlow is launched from a process, it interacts with the same context (data, documents…) so all subsequent tasks can access it.
FreeFlow tasklist adds to the process tasklist to help user keep in context.

When business users launch a FreeFlow, it can be configured to have a set of users that interact with it, that contribute to it or that have to validate it before it is closed.
If it was launched from a process with data, a set of users that can access the data is also configured.
